No Plans for the weekend? Here is some inspiration for you!
Only 39 days left until Christmas and there are still a lot of new venues coming on this weekend. The weather will be nice so why don’t you try some of our nicest ice rinks in town. Or find out where you can have the best hot chocolate or mulled wine. There are so many events don’t miss the opportunity to visit them.
Natural History Museum
Find yourself in a fairy-tale at Natural History Museum. The ice rink is just in front of the Museum. Even when you don’t like skating you can enjoy it from the outside. Take the escalator to the 1 level and enjoy a hot chocolate in the Café Bar there. Watching through the bird’s eye view from the café of the rink while you sipping at your drink. There are various opening times so check them before you go. The prices are also varies, the cheapest adult ticket being £12.65. There are special offers for Students, where you’ll receive a free drink. Located in South Kensington you can also visit a museum or even two because they are free.
If you like unique things, don’t miss this! Not a long time ago, Skylight changed its theme from summer to autumn. Yesterday happens another change, the change to the winter time! Now you can find there an ice rink with an amazing view over the city. It’s the only one rooftop ice-rink in its kind of whole Europe. On the 11th and 12th Floor, you can find all winter themed activities included an ice hockey shoot out and bars. There are also heated pergolas where you can enjoy the view over the city as well. Again, you have many options to pass your time without skating. In the 9th Floor is the snug bar located which is an enclosed and heated area. There you’ll find a whole range of food and drinks. This installation will be until the 27th of January 2019.
Go to Clapham North for the ultimate Winterville. Here you can find everything that’s you need for a great night out or just for a fun day trip. Winterville presents you a whole range of venues. You can see there from Comedy and magician shows to musical bingo and Mexican wrestling everything you like. There is also a Christmas family show on a double-decker bus. Or you go on the ice rink and afterwards clubbing in the Roller Disco. Today there will be Mel C remixes and tomorrow a great show with special guests. Find a lot of food and drinks there as well. You won’t get bored there believe me. It’s a bit outside of London but still worth to visit. It’s on the Northern line which opens 24hrs over the weekends so you’ll be able to get home all the time what is a benefit. If you have no time this weekend, it’s until the 23rd of December!
A lovely weekend to everyone!
