North Wales
is the northernmost unofficial region of Wales. the largest towns in the region are Wrexham, Rhyl, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Bangor.

Harlech Castle is a medieval fortification constructed on top of a hill close to the Irish Sea. The castle was left in ruins after the English Civil War, but underwent extensive restoration after the First World War. It is now considered one of the finest examples of late 13th century and early 14th century military architecture in Europe, and is now a major tourist attraction.

Portmeirion is a tourist village in Gwynedd. It was designed and built in the style of an Italian village, and is now owned by a charitable trust. The design of the town was in order to pay tribute to the atmosphere of the Mediterranean.

Caernarfon Castle is a medieval fortress in Caernarfon, Gwynedd. Its architecture is distinctly different from other Edward I castles that line the North Welsh coast in that the towers are polygonal and straight rather than round. This makes it very unique for the period and heightens its interest with tourists.

Conwy Castle is a medieval fortification in Conwy. It contains best preserved suite of medieval private royal chambers in England and Wales. Today the castle is a popular tourist attraction.

Bodnant Garden is a National Trust property near Tal-y-Cafn, in the county borough of Conwy, overlooking the Conwy Valley towards the Carneddau mountains. The garden spans 80 acres of hillside and includes formal Italianate Terraces, informal Shrub Borders containing plants from around the world. It is famous for its Laburnum Arch, the longest in the UK, which flowers in May and June.

Swallow Falls is a name given to Rhaeadr Ewynnol (English: Foaming Waterfall) by tourists. it is a multiple waterfall system in Wales, located on the Afon Llugwy near Betws-y-Coed and is very popular with tourists as it is considered an area of outstanding natural beauty.
