Superior Homestay Zone 2 and Zone 3

Superior Homestays are located in TFL transport zones 2 and well-connected or expensive areas of zone 3. The homestays will be well connected to Central London via train, underground or bus routes. Although these areas are often more suburban, due to their proximity to central London, house prices in these areas are remain high as does the level of demand from students and tourists. Accommodation in this area is likely to be a little larger but as this is London and a big city, still likely to be smaller than in less populated cities.

What to expect
A homestay is a safe part of London within transport zones 2 or 3 with good links to public transport (train, underground or bus) to Central London.
A welcoming host with local knowledge and advice about the area.
One of the cheaper weekly travel cards available (if you are studying in central London).
Likely closer proximity to green areas such as parks.
Possible smaller town centres within the city e.g. Wimbledon, Ealing, Greenwich etc.

What NOT to expect
London is a big city. Please do not expect to travel from one part of the city to another in a matter of minutes. Even if you are located close to a very well-connected station, some journeys can take an hour or longer.
A much shorter journey time than standard zone 3+. Although your journey time is likely to be a little shorter, the outer zones of London are also very well connected and often have faster ‘express’ trains, meaning some journey times will be similar.
