Executive Homestay Zone 1 and 2
The most central homestay locations we can offer, usually in Zone 2.
Executive homestays focus on the most central locations we can offer. Availability is usually in Zone 2, as Zone 1 homestays are extremely rare.
What to expect
- Location: usually Zone 2 (Zone 1 availability is extremely limited).
- Commute time: often around 30–40 minutes to central London as a rough guide — your actual commute depends on your exact address and school/work location.
- Best for: students who prioritise shorter journeys and are comfortable with higher weekly rates.
Why choose an Executive homestay?
- Often shorter and simpler journeys for daily travel.
- A practical option if your school/work is central and you want to reduce commute time.
- Useful if you have early starts or late finishes (tell us your schedule so we can advise on routes).
What’s included
What’s included can vary by home. Your quote and host profile will confirm the details.
- A private room in a host home (shared facilities in most homes)
- Bills (utilities)
- Wi‑Fi
- Laundry: up to two washes per week
- Bed linen and towels (bedding is usually changed weekly)
Good to know:
- Wi‑Fi is a domestic service and can occasionally be affected by outages.
- Please agree laundry timings with your host.
Meal plans and kitchen access depend on what you book. See: Meal plans explained.
About Zone 1 requests
Zone 1 homestays are extremely rare. If you request Zone 1, we may not be able to offer options. In many cases, a well-connected Zone 2 home is the most realistic and practical choice.
Common questions
Can you guarantee a specific area or commute time?
We can’t guarantee exact commute times because they depend on the address and live transport conditions. However, we will use your school/work location to recommend areas with practical routes where possible.
Will an Executive homestay be in Zone 1?
Usually no. Zone 1 homestays are extremely rare. Executive availability is normally in Zone 2.
Can I change zones after booking?
If you need to change location after booking, contact us. We can advise on options, but availability and pricing may change.
