Easter in London

This long weekend is full of Easter activities, whether you want to gobble up some chocolate or you want to just have some Easter fun!

  • From the 25th March until the 9th April the London Eye has paired with the award winning West End production Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The London eye will bring a taste of Wonka’s world as they run an immersive experience “The View of Pure Imagination” the Eye will take you into the sky on a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed adventure to help Willy Wonka invent his latest sweet treat! “Expect a fantastical journey full to the brim with
story-telling actors, mouth-watering mischief and ludicrous Easter craft workshops.” Not only will the London Eye be decorated but the area around the Eye will also be decorated with a magical touch…think lollipop trees and other confectionary shaped treats! However if you’re an adult looking for a little bit more sophistication then the London Eye’s Hotel Chocolat ‘Chocolate Tasting Experience;’ offers the perfect pairing of prosecco and chocolate as well as giving you amazing views over London.
  • Chocolate Market at Duke of York Square taking place on Saturday 26th March Eas
ter is hitting Chelsea. There is a decadent chocolate market returning for its third year to Duke of York Square. You can feast on chocolates and other sweet delights from stall holders such as Hans Sloane who’ll have Easter eggs made from rich dark chocolate that transform hot milk into the creamiest of cocoa drinks. What more could you want from your Easter weekend?
  • The roof gardens in London has an Easter egg hunt in their Spanish Garden. You get to explore the magnificent Spanish Garden at The Roof Gardens this Easter Sunday in search of chocolatey goodies on an Easter egg hunt. Even I want to join in on this hunt as the The rooftop venue 100ft above Kensington High Street has teamed up with chocolatiers Choccywoccydoodah for the hunt, which will be watched by the Easter Bunny itself! You can even grab yourself a drink from the bar and relax in the gardens. There will be a special giant egg for one lucky winner, so get hunting! Who wouldn’t want to enjoy this?
  • If you want to make y
our own piece of spring fashion, then Tatty Devine are holding a workshop where you can create your own pastel posy necklace. The vogue favourites will talk you through making a bespoke necklace with drinks and snacks too. It is a little pricy at £65 but will be a great experience!
