What to do this weekend in London: Lambeth Country Show

The 44th Lambeth Country Show will return to Brockwell Park on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 July 2018, boasting a unique line-up that celebrates the very best of the city and countryside. With over 150,000 people attending throughout the weekend in 2017, the show is one of the biggest free family festivals in the UK.

The 2018 instalment will once again feature home grown a veg carving competitionsheep shearingsheep dog and owl displays, an on-site mini farm and lots more.

The main funfair will not be returning this year, however there will still have the children’s funfair and bouncy castle rides.

Live music can be heard from two stages over the weekend; don’t miss Roots Reggae Day on the Main Stage on Sunday. The Village Green stage will showcase an eclectic mix of local talent playing acoustic folk, soul and pop, along with steel orchestras and samba bands.

Locally made (and rather potent) cider, homemade cakes and other refreshments will be on sale.

The event is extremely popular with residents and visitors alike, so we encourage people to come early and avoid the busiest peak times from 3pm to 5pm and be prepared to queue. Last entry in to the event will be 6.30pm on both days.

Adress: Brockwell Park – Norwood Road, London SE24 9BJ

  • an horticultural show
  • sheep dog and owl displays
