Learning English has become an unquestionable skill nowadays, but how to do that? Here are 3 ways to do it:
- Join an English School
One of the best way to learn English remains going to an English School for a short or long period.
As a member of English UK and having participated in the Accreditation UK inspection process and been recognised by the British Council, London Homestays only work with language schools in London who are also English UK members and are accredited by the British Council, thus assuring quality.
Here are some of our most popular English language schools: Malvern House London, Stafford House London, LSC Stanton.

- Home English Tuition: Intensive one-to-one courses where you live and study in your teacher’s home.
Living and studying a personalised programme can make your process much easier, allowing you to develop your speaking, reading and writing skills very quickly.
Whether you are a beginner and want to quickly improve your basic English, or a higher level student and need to study intensively for business or an exam, London Homestays Home English tuition could be perfect for you.

- Learn English online through free or charged website
There are now many websites online, free or not, where you could learn English. LearnEnglish for example is supported by the British Council, which is a token of quality. The BBC also offers online learning and resources, with high quality content.
We are also working with Lingoda, an online platform which is offering group classes as well as private ones and offer official certificates forms. A group class at a standard level will cost for example $169 per month.
Finally you could follow MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), a course given on the internet, usually at college level, where everyone can become a student and listen to it. These courses are usually taught by university professors, and are often free. You can go on Alison, a website with about 750 courses.
Good luck!
