Autumn was eventful for the LH Gladiators, our spirited under-9 football squad. From the first kickoff in September to the end of 2023, they’ve kept us on the edge of our seats with an unbeaten streak. As proud sponsors for the third consecutive year, we at London Homestays have watched every game and celebrated every goal.

This first part of the season has been about more than tallying wins; it’s the way the London Homestays Gladiators have played and how the boys have worked together as a team that’s truly captured our hearts.

Each Saturday every Saturday morning in all weather the boys have shown their enthusiasm and teamwork, working hard in every game to showcase their skills. The unity they’ve demonstrated, with every player playing their heart out, whether defending a lead or chasing the ball, has not just kept their unbeaten record intact—it’s deepened their collective passion for football.

At London Homestays, we see ourselves as more than just sponsors. We are an integral part of the LH Gladiators family. Our support for the team extends beyond financial aid; we are committed to nurturing the potential of these young sportsmen. We believe strongly in the role of local sports in strengthening community bonds with one of our directors as team manager and a number of our host families coming down to watch the games.
