Sutton

Sutton Sutton is located in South London, England. It lies on the lower slopes of the North Downs, and is located 10.4 miles (16.7 km) south-south west of Charing Cross, and is one of the eleven metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan.

Along with Wimbledon Studios, Sutton is a hub for filming in south-west London. Sutton is home to the Royal Marsden Hospital and the town has among the lowest levels of crime in Greater London.

Transport

Tube

Sutton station is the town’s major station, from where frequent direct trains run to several main central London stations − London Victoria, London Bridge, Blackfriars, City Thameslink and, for Eurostar services, St. Pancras International. The station is served by both First Capital Connect (for Thameslink) and Southern Railway.

Buses

Local bus services are operated by London General, Epsom Coaches (Quality Line), Abellio London and Metrobus. There are also express coach services to both London Heathrow Airport and London Gatwick Airport.
