Homestays for Japanese educational agents

How we work with Japanese educational agents and partner organisations.

Homestays for Japanese educational agents

London Homestays has placed international students with London host families since 2009, including students from Japan who come to us through agencies and schools. This page is for Japanese educational agents: what your students get, how we choose hosts, and how we work with you.

What your students get

  • A room in a host family home in a residential part of London, matched to their school, commute and preferences
  • Half board (breakfast and dinner), bed and breakfast, or self-catering, depending on the plan you book
  • Out-of-hours emergency support for the whole stay
  • A LINE account (@110qnxbn) for students and parents who prefer it, as well as email and WhatsApp

How we choose hosts

We interview every host before their first booking, assess the home in person or by video, and check references. Hosts who look after students under 18 also need a DBS check. London Homestays is registered with the British Council as a provider of homestay accommodation.

Working with us

  • Your own contact for bookings, questions and student welfare
  • A customer portal that shows every current and upcoming booking, with host contact details
  • Host options usually within 1–2 working days

“London Homestays provided me with more than just accommodation—they gave me a genuine British family experience while maintaining the comfort of Japanese cultural understanding. Their bilingual support made my transition to London life smooth and enjoyable.”

Makiko S., Student from Tokyo
