Group homestays in Tunbridge Wells
We arrange group homestays in Tunbridge Wells for schools and youth groups, working with experienced host families across the area. The town is located in Kent, with direct rail services to London.
Royal Tunbridge Wells is an historic spa town in western Kent, approximately 40 miles southeast of London. The town developed around its chalybeate spring, discovered in 1606, and retains much of its Georgian and Victorian character.
The surrounding area offers attractions including Tonbridge Castle, Bewl Water reservoir for outdoor activities, and Dunorlan Park. Tunbridge Wells’ historic Pantiles colonnade and independent shops make it an attractive destination for group visits.
What group leaders need to know
Every group is quoted individually, because centre, dates and numbers all move the price. The practical arrangements are the same wherever your group stays.
Students stay with host families in twos, threes and fours. Group leaders and other adults travelling with the group can have single rooms if any are free when you book.
We suggest full board: breakfast and dinner at the family’s table, and a packed lunch to take out for the day. Half board, without the packed lunch, is also an option.
A local organiser is at the meeting point each morning and evening. Students are handed over between host families and group leaders with someone responsible present both times.
Airport transfers can be arranged for the whole group by taxi, minibus or coach. Ask for a quotation when you enquire.
Tell us the ages of your students when you enquire, so the quote covers the right arrangements for anyone under 18.
Larger groups pay less per person. Payment terms come with your quote.
Send us your dates, group size and anything the group needs, and we will come back with a quote for Tunbridge Wells.
