Homestay Experience

Your Home Away From Home

Medical student arriving at their homestay accommodation in London.

Finding the Right Homestay for you

When you’re immersed in medical studies or completing a placement, having the right living environment makes all the difference. Our homestays provide you with your own private bedroom, complete with a desk where you can study or catch up on medical journals. You’ll have space to store your books and materials, and most importantly, a comfortable bed for those essential hours of rest between demanding medical training.

We understand that medical schedules rarely follow typical nine-to-five routines. Whether you’re heading to early morning rounds or returning from a late shift, you’ll have your own key to come and go as needed. You’ll be responsible for your room but your host family will keep the home clean and change your bed linen weekly, allowing you to focus on your medical training rather than household chores.
Flexible meal plans are essential for medical professionals. That’s why we offer three options to suit your schedule. Choose from self-catering with kitchen access, bed and breakfast for a light start to your day, or half board with breakfast and evening meal included. Whatever your rotation pattern or study schedule, there’s a meal plan to match your needs.

Beyond the practical amenities, a homestay offers something unique – the warmth of family life and a chance to truly experience British culture. After a challenging day at the hospital or medical school, you’ll return to a real home where you can either engage with your hosts or enjoy the privacy of your own space, depending on your needs.

Key Benefits
