Group homestays in Bath area
We arrange group homestays in Bath area for schools and youth groups, working with experienced host families across the area. The area is centred on Bath, a historic city in Somerset known for its Roman heritage.
Bath is a historic city in Somerset, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Roman remains and Georgian architecture. Located 97 miles west of London, Bath offers groups one of England’s most architecturally distinguished destinations.
The city’s attractions include the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, the Circus, and Pulteney Bridge. Bath’s compact centre allows groups to explore its major sites on foot, making it ideal for educational and cultural visits.
What group leaders need to know
Every group is quoted individually, because centre, dates and numbers all move the price. The practical arrangements are the same wherever your group stays.
Students stay with host families in twos, threes and fours. Group leaders and other adults travelling with the group can have single rooms if any are free when you book.
We suggest full board: breakfast and dinner at the family’s table, and a packed lunch to take out for the day. Half board, without the packed lunch, is also an option.
A local organiser is at the meeting point each morning and evening. Students are handed over between host families and group leaders with someone responsible present both times.
Airport transfers can be arranged for the whole group by taxi, minibus or coach. Ask for a quotation when you enquire.
Tell us the ages of your students when you enquire, so the quote covers the right arrangements for anyone under 18.
Larger groups pay less per person. Payment terms come with your quote.
Send us your dates, group size and anything the group needs, and we will come back with a quote for Bath area.
