Host Referral Scheme Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to the London Homestays Host Referral Scheme (“the Scheme”). This Scheme allows existing hosts to refer new hosts to London Homestays, rewarding them for contributing to the growth of our community. Participation in the Scheme is subject to the following terms and conditions.

Eligibility

  1. Referrers: Must be current hosts with London Homestays in good standing.
  2. Referees: Must be new hosts who have not previously registered or applied to be a host with London Homestays.
  3. Location: Refereed hosts must reside in London, Zones 1-4, within areas currently recruiting by London Homestays.
  4. Referral Process: Referees must state “referred by” followed by the full name of the referring host at the time of application. Retrospective claims will not be accepted.

Referral Rewards

  1. Amount: £50 reward for each eligible referral.
  2. Payment Conditions: The reward is payable after the referred host completes their first booking or after the student from the first booking has stayed for 4 weeks, whichever comes first.
  3. Disqualification: No payment will be issued if the student(s) is moved, or there has been a complaint about the referred host.

General Terms

  1. Multiple Referrals: If multiple hosts refer the same new host, the reward will be given to the host whose referral was recorded first.
  2. Right to Decline: London Homestays reserves the right to decline any referral at its discretion without providing reasons.
  3. Changes to the Scheme: London Homestays reserves the right to change, suspend or terminate the Scheme at any time. Notice of any changes will be provided to current participants.
  4. Dispute Resolution: In the event of a dispute, London Homestays’ decision will be final and binding.

Agreement

Participation in the Scheme constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions. It is the participant’s responsibility to read and understand these terms prior to participating in the Scheme.
